Volume dropping on stocks selling off

Selling has not really kicked in... volatility says so!

    You don't want to get bearish? You're always bearish. This is a very odd year, to say the least. Markets are crazy. I'm so confused about the direction I'm staying 90% cash for awhile. I want return of capital, not return on capital. Every time I short the /NQ I get killed. You know the old saying after 5 years of trading, I know everything, after 10 years of trading, I know nothing.
